Description: Practical Electrical Theory (8 hour course)

Practical Electrical Theory is an online, self-paced introduction to electrical theory, laws, and circuits. This course is the 1st of 5 in the Project Engineer to Project Manager (PE to PM) Path for non-electrician construction professionals. Course topics include:
  • Atomic Theory
  • Ohm’s Law
  • Series Circuits
  • Parallel Circuits

A 7th Edition Delmar’s Standard Textbook of Electricity is required for this course. See the course textbook list for purchase and rental options.

All course hours must be completed within 90 days of purchase to receive credit. You will not be notified when your self-paced course is about to expire, and it is your responsibility to keep track of your course expiration/due date. Students must pass the final exam to earn credit for this course.

The course tuition is not refundable or transferable.
