2020 NEC Changes Parts 1 & 2 Online Home Study Course (16 hour course)
This course is recommended for certified Journeymen who want to earn continuing education hours to maintain their Journeyman certification, or for Electrician Trainees who have completed our Get Wired! 100 series.
Course content is from Mike Holt’s 2020 NEC Changes Parts 1 and 2.
The 2020 Code Changes program highlights the most important changes students need to know. This course will clearly explain the significant changes found in Articles 90-820 of the NEC. Full-color illustrations to help you visualize the changes and safety requirements from a practical perspective. You will review author’s comments & analysis, cautions regarding possible conflict or confusing NEC requirements, tips on proper electrical installations, and warnings of the dangers related to improper electrical installations.
Topics covered in this course are based on the requirements in the 2020 Edition of the National Electric Code (NEC), a copy of which is required when taking this course. You may utilize one of the suggested resources in the textbook list located in the forms and resources section of the WECA website or any other sources to order the NEC.
To receive credit
for this course you must:
- Complete this course within 90 days.
- Complete the entire course which includes 2020 NEC Changes Part 1 & Part 2. No partial credit will be given.
- Attain an overall average grade of at least 75%.
