WECA is proud to have participated in several outreach events in April, to promote apprenticeship and careers in the electrical and low voltage industry.

Our outreach team attended the April 4th Sheldon HS Vocational and Career Fair,
April 20th Antelope HS Career Fair, and
April 21st NSBIF Skilled Trades Job Fair.

WECA's Tom Thompson accepted an invitation to be a judge of the electrical competition at an April 20-21 AGC of America and Skills USA event in Ontario, CA.

These events encourage high school graduates and other career-seekers to consider apprenticeship programs. WECA's Associate Director of Apprenticeship, Wendy Flanagan, travels all over the state to share WECA's apprenticeship opportunities, and will continue to do so in May!

On May 2nd and 3rd, WECA will be a sponsor for the Design Build competition, and on May 9th, there will be an Elk Grove School District student visit and tour to our Rancho Cordova training facility.

A huge shout out to everyone at WECA working so hard to connect young people and career-changers with WECA opportunities!
