The California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) is asking licensed contractors to take a few minutes to provide feedback on an important topic. Senate Bill 610 (Chapter 378, Statutes of 2019) requires CSLB to study whether the $15,000 surety bond all licensed contractors are required to have is sufficient to reimburse consumers harmed by a contractor’s actions.
