WECA's GetWired online delivery and instructional teams convened virtually on Saturday, July 9th for the second semiannual meeting of the year.

Dan Bierly, Curriculum Development and GetWired Training Manager, reports a great turnout, noting that the GetWired team has welcomed five new instructors this calendar year in due part to the hard work of Galen Eckert, Electrician Trainee/Continuing Education Online Manager.

"We talked about the interactive functions of GetWired's virtual classroom," says Dan. "And we listened and reacted to instructors' concerns about hard topics that students usually have trouble with, and created helpful crib sheets in response."

Rebecca Archer, Senior eLearning Specialist, added that the teams also discussed some upcoming 2020 curriculum changes, noting that beyond full Code updates to the 2020 NEC (coming to our online classrooms in January 2023, based as always on Code change timing from the State of California), most of them are "functionality changes."
