Description
Journeyman Electricians work on commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects (both private and public works). Electricians must be able to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining the accuracy and quality of their work. This position requires high technical expertise and attention to detail. Our work ranges from North Sacramento to the East Bay down into the Central Valley. Journeyman must be willing to travel to assigned job site.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Supervising subcontractors, apprentices, material handlers Planning and laying out jobs Providing project foremen with daily job performance updates Cutting, bending, threading and running electrical conduit materials Pulling electrical wiring through electrical conduit Terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets and various electrical devices Install/connect wires to circuit breakers transformers, outlets or other components/systems Maintaining good working relationships with customers Monitoring safety in the field; Conducting regular safety meetings Completing regular reports and paperwork Handling claims and change orders Estimating time and scheduling Job Requirements: Electricians must provide proof of CA Journeyman Electrician certification. Proficient knowledge of electrical theory, the National Electrical Code, and local and state electric/ building codes required. Electricians must have a clear understanding of lock out and tag out. OSHA 10, scissor lift, reach lift, CPR, and first aid training is preferred. Ability to visualize work Must be able to climb ladders, sit, bend, stoop, stand or walk for extended periods. Must have minimal ability to squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach lift, balance, carry, push, and pull Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Must be able to travel to job site locations Ability to work in extreme weather and temperature conditions.
