Tell them about the new Capital College and Career Academy

WECA is excited to speak in support of the new Capital College and Career Academy, and their mission to help remedy the labor pipeline crisis that the construction industry faces in the Sacramento region.

We eagerly anticipate that graduates of the Capital College and Career Academy will be well-prepared to succeed in our programs, and look forward to functioning as a pipeline option for their graduates.

This new academy appears poised to be the only local high school that will provide the rigorous training and certificates in the building trades in pursuit of these shared, regional workforce development goals. WECA is looking forward to working with the students, instructors and parents of Capital College and Career Academy to provide a continuing career path into the electrical and low voltage trades as highly-skilled workers.

Please have a look at their flyer below, and share it with a high school student in your life. You may just set them on the path to a rewarding apprenticeship with WECA!
