      Register Participant For GET WIRED! 402 Self-Paced (33 hour course)(2020 Code Edition)

      Please make sure to thoroughly read what you are signing up for before paying.

      1. I understand that there are no refunds or transfers allowed for all self-paced online courses once my transaction has been processed.
      2. I understand that all self-paced courses have a 90-day time limit and that I will need to pay to retake the course if I do not complete it on time.
      3. I understand that my class log on information will be emailed to me within 1-2 business days from when my transaction is processed. I agree to contact WECA immediately if I do not receive the email within 1-2 days, or if I have trouble accessing the class.

      Electrician Trainee
      Choose Electrician Trainee if:
      • You are currently working as an electrician for a C-10 electrical contractor in California, or:
      • You plan to work for a C-10 contractor, or:
      • You intend to become a certified electrician in California
      • Select this option if you need to report your course hours to the State of California to meet the annual 150 hour Electrician Trainee renewal requirement

      General Student
      Choose General Student if:
      • You do not intend to become a certified electrician in California, or:
      • You are a resident of a state other than California and are seeking electrical education, or:
      • You are not currently working as an electrician in California, or:
      • You do not need to report your course hours for California Electrician Trainee or Journeyperson certification renewal
      A General Student is anyone taking a WECA course who is not a California Apprentice, Electrician Trainee or Certified Journeyperson. General Students do not typically work as electricians for electrical contractors in California and therefore do not need to be certified or registered with the state as an Electrician Trainee or an Apprentice.

      Certified Journeyperson
      Choose Certified Journeyperson if:
      • You have passed the California Electrician Certification exam, and:
      • Hold a valid, unexpired Journeyperson license
      • This option is for reporting your course hours for California's 32-hour continuing education requirement or furthering your skills and knowledge as a CA Journeyperson
      If your California license has expired and you plan to work for a C-10 contractor in the field, register as an Electrician Trainee until you retake and pass the California certification exam.
