Fredricks Electric, Inc. established in 1976 is a well-established and growing Electrical Contractor with immediate opportunity for qualified Electrical Journeyman to service our client base here in San Diego County. Our company is built on innovation, pride, integrity, and quality. We work on a variety of projects from schools, fire stations, military to commercial, residential, new construction, remodels & tenant improvements. We are seeking qualified, motivated, Skilled and Trained Journeyman who are Licensed Electricians with the State of California. Must have a valid Journeyman Card. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential Responsibilities: ? Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring system to National and local code requirements. ? Diagnose malfunctioning systems, test electrical components and continuity of circuits to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the issue. ? Installation/repair/maintenance of circuit breakers, transformers, outlets and lighting fixtures. ? Install panels, conduit feeders, branch circuits, devices, lighting, and lighting control systems. ? Responsible for understanding and reading plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements. ? Able to organize work, run teams and safely manage projects from start to finish. ? Continually updating knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. ? Responsible for the safety, success and well-being of peers and supervisors. ? Ability to manage and create material lists and priorities. ? Demonstrate strong leadership and pre-planning abilities. Essential Qualifications: ? Able to pass security screening and background checks for federal and state facilities. ? Current Journeyman classification ? Self-motivated, capable of working as a team and with limited supervision. ? You will be required to supply your own hand tools that are necessary to do the work of an electrician. ? Positive attitude and professional customer service. ? Able and willing to work in all aspects of the industry: utility, commercial, residential, and service work. ? Demonstrated ability to problem solve complex control systems and fix the problems. ? Must possess a strong attention to detail and good work ethic. ? Able to take and give instruction and act on them. ? Knowledge of safety procedures ? Knowledge of and experience with the National Electric Code and any relevant local codes. ?
