Description	Fampeca Electric & Construction is hiring a reliable and experienced CA State Certified Journeyman Electrician for private residential, commercial, and multi-family electrical projects throughout Berkeley, Oakland, and the surrounding East Bay. We are looking for someone who can work independently, read plans, install clean code-compliant work, troubleshoot, and help lead projects in the field. This is a good opportunity for an electrician who wants steady work, competitive pay, and room to grow into a lead or foreman position. Primary Duties: Perform rough-in and trim-out electrical work Install panels, subpanels, feeders, dedicated circuits, lighting, devices, and equipment Run EMT, MC cable, Romex, and underground conduit where applicable Read and follow electrical plans and specifications Troubleshoot existing electrical systems Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades Maintain clean, safe, and professional work areas Lead helpers or apprentices when needed Perform work in compliance with NEC/CEC standards Requirements: Active California State Certified General Electrician card Valid driver’s license Reliable transportation Ability to read plans and work independently Strong knowledge of residential and commercial electrical work Clean EMT installation skills preferred Own basic hand tools Dependable, professional, and punctual Good communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience: Commercial tenant improvements Multi-family projects Service upgrades and panel changes Lighting controls Troubleshooting Foreman or lead electrician experience Benefits / Additional Information: Competitive hourly pay Steady East Bay work Paid weekly Growth opportunity into lead/foreman role Family-owned company with a professional team environment How to Apply: Please apply with your name, phone number, years of experience, California certification number, and a short description of the electrical work you are strongest in.
