The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics to execute projects efficiently. Duties •Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test electrical systems and troubleshoot issues. • Install underground conduit, install EMT conduit, Metal Cld Cable. • Build switchgear and install panel cans. • Work collaboratively on construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and effectively. • Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance. • Document all work performed, including any changes made during the installation or repair process. • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems. • Ability to operate testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters effectively. • Knowledge of construction site protocols and safety regulations. • Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
