What is WECA's Student Referral Service? – A job referral service that serves as a conduit to introduce our current Electrician Trainees, Journeyman Continuing Education students, and WECA Apprenticeship and ET Graduate job seekers to Member Contractors to meet their staffing needs.

Who does this benefit? - WECA Students, Graduates, and Member Contractors. There is no charge to Student or Member.

In which states do you offer it? - At this time, WECA's student referral service is only available in California.

How does this differ from the WECA Electrical and Low Voltage Industry Job Board? WECA’s current Electrical and Low Voltage Industry Job Board is a self-service portal where members and electrical and low voltage employment job-seekers submit and review resumes and job postings online. This new service provides additional customer service by having WECA staff provide hands-on referrals. This will take some of the leg work off the plates of our members and active students.

This service is not a hiring process and WECA does not recommend or validate the information provided by students. WECA is not an agent of the employer. WECA provides this service as an avenue to connect job seekers with WECA Members looking to hire.
