Why Should You Send Your Journeyperson Training Contributions to WECA, Even If You Are Not a Member?
WECA trains thousands of Electrician Trainees, Journeyperson Continuing Education students, and Commercial Electrical, Residential Electrical, and Low Voltage (Voice Data Video and Fire Life Safety) Apprentices every year— and is continuously developing new and innovative online interactive classes to meet the needs of these students across California, whether or not they work for WECA member contractors. Feel confident that your contributions are training California’s current and future independent electrical workforce.
Journeyperson Contributions for Non-Members
If you are a Contractor required to submit training contributions under California Labor Code Section 1777.5, you can submit your Electrician Journeyperson Training Contributions directly to WECA. We are the only Electrical Program that qualifies to accept contributions for any county in the State of California for any of the sub-classifications under the main heading of Electrician. These sub-classifications vary by county and an example is provided below:
For your convenience, when you remit your payment, you can submit our Electrician Journeyperson Training Contributions Form (download below) to identify your training contributions; however, if you have an internally generated report you are welcome to include that instead. You can mail in your payment along with your report to WECA at 3695 Bleckely Street, Mather, CA 95655.
(WECA Member? You can log in and make your payment here on our website.)
We will email you a confirmation of your training contributions paid to WECA-ATC.
