Laurel Wise, K2 Electric's Training Coordinator, says "K2 Electric was proud to host WECA for a job walk at the site of a future data center in Maricopa. The crew, led by recent apprenticeship program graduate Nathaniel Ortiz and joined by third-year WECA apprentice Alberto Martinez, did an excellent job showcasing their work. We appreciated the WECA team's visit and the valuable insights they shared on apprenticeship and electrical training. K2 looks forward to future jobsite collaborations with WECA."

Keith Smart, WECA Arizona Apprenticeship Manager and Lead Instructor, adds "WECA uses these visits to better understand what our contractors need from their apprentices and to bring that information home for implementation. WECA also wants to show support for our apprentices to let them know we care about their development. It provides an opportunity to cheer them on as well as show their journeymen and foremen the benefits of structured electrical education. WECA is committed to developing the best electrical apprentices possible."
