On Thursday, October 17th, we--along with Member Contractors Sebastian Corp.and Electrical Power Source--made our annual visit to the Career Tech Expo in Fresno and shared the benefits of a career in construction as an electrician with upwards of 3,000 potential apprentices and their parents!

And Sebastian brought a familiar face from last year's Career Tech Expo--current WECA Low Voltage apprentice and Sebastian employee Alondra Mora! It was wonderful to see Alondra again, and see how far she's come since being a prospective apprentice at this very expo last year! What's more is that Electrical Power Source--pictured below--is also a female-owned electrical contracting company, with President Beatrice Pino at the helm. 

Way to go--thank you, Alondra and Beatrice, for representing women in construction and showing that it's never been a better time to be a female in the construction and electrical industries!
