Electrical Troubleshooting (GET WIRED! 402) combines 9 hours of live webcast training with 23 hours of self-paced training using troubleshooting software that teaches you how to troubleshoot faulty electrical and motor circuits. In this course, you’ll learn the basics of electrical and motor circuits from your instructor, then start to work through the simulations on your own. Follow-up class sessions give you time with the instructor to ask questions about what you’re learning and what you may need more help with.

This course enables you to:
  • Learn a systematic approach to testing and troubleshooting
  • Select and use testing and measuring instruments/equipment
  • Review NEC requirements for electrical testing
  • Perform simulated electrical troubleshooting activities just as you would on real equipment
  • Benefit from the skills of expert troubleshooters as you are “Guided” through sample faults to solving more complex faults using realistic simulations
  • Measure yourself on safety, time and materials standards for excellence

Course materials include two, 1 year, cloud-based software licenses which are provided to you by WECA and are included as part of the tuition cost. This course is not recommended if you have completed the Home Study Electrical Troubleshooting Skills Series.
