WECA Arizona Outreach Team and Commercial Electrical Apprentices Teamed Up with Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Registrar of Contractors for Construction Science Technology Apprenticeship Fair

The WECA Arizona team, along with three WECA Arizona Commercial Electrical apprentices who work for WECA Arizona Member Contractor K2 Electric, recently joined the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for the fifth annual Construction Science Technology Apprenticeship Fair at Chase Field in Phoenix.
The event aims to connect high school juniors and seniors, college students, and members of the United States Armed Forces and veterans considering careers in construction science technology professions with construction companies that are actively recruiting for available apprenticeship positions or entry-level job openings with training programs.
Heath Anderson, WECA Arizona's Outreach and Workforce Development Specialist, recalled "We had a lively crowd with great questions. A big thank-you to David Ceniceros, Norberto Rayas, and Phoenix Gallardo from K2 Electric who came out to help in our booth. The reaction of career seekers directly connecting with our active apprentices was such a positive experience. We truly appreciated their help. This was a great event!"
Thank you, Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Registrar of Contractors, for having us!
