Meanwhile, in California, WECA's apprenticeship outreach team is getting in the full swing of things!

The WECA Phoenix Commercial Electrical Apprenticeship program team has been busy conducting apprenticeship outreach in Arizona! WECA Membership Director Bob Bartlett and Apprenticeship Program Remote Manager/Phoenix Commercial Electrical Apprenticeship instructor Keith Smart teamed up with Darin Johnson and Matt Apodaca -- Vice President of Foreman Development and General Superintendent for Workforce Development, respectively -- of WECA Arizona founding Member Contractor Corbins to recruit the next generation of Arizona commercial electricians at the Washington High School Find Your Future Construction Careers Fair on March 10 in Phoenix. Looks like it was a fun event, guys -- we can't wait to reach out to more prospective commercial apprentices in Arizona in the coming months ahead!

Meanwhile, in California, things are in full swing for our California apprenticeship outreach team! On Wednesday, March 9, our Workforce Development Supervisor Diane Trotter joined forces with WECA Member Contractors Rex Moore Electrical Contractors and Engineers and Sebastian Corp. at the Recruit the 99 Career and Internship Fair at Fresno State. Then, on Thursday, Diane spoke with eager high school students from Turlock, Merced, and Modesto at the CIE Foundation's Valley Builders Trades Day in Turlock. It was great to see everyone and broaden our reach in the Central Valley!
