Fall Apprenticeship Outreach in California: WECA Visits CIEF Middle School Trades Day; SRBX Trades Day

Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) Trades Day, Oct. 30

WECA participated in the CIEF Middle School Trades Day on Oct. 30 at the Capital College & Career Academy in Sacramento. WECA Member Contractors Royal Electric Company and K S Telecom also joined us at the event!

SRBX Trades Day, Nov. 16

Meanwhile, WECA also reached out to high school students at the Sacramento Regional Builders' Exchange (SRBX) Trades Day at Cal Expo in Sacramento on Nov. 16.

WECA Member Contractors Helix ElectricRex Moore GroupRoyal Electric Company, and Mark III Construction were also in attendance at the event.

During the event, Low Voltage instructor John Arias performed a hands-on activity with students, while Client Services ET/CE Specialist Will Hughes and Workforce Development Specialist Jeanette Santos discussed how interested students could pursue an electrical or low voltage career with WECA in the future.
